Information for Probation Officers

We realize your caseload is probably “outrageous” and there’s no bigger hassle than to chase down information on a probationer.

To help you, we offer:

Clear, concise, accurate monthly reports
A live person answering the telephone (during regular business hours) to provide, update, or verify
probationer information for you.
A return telephone call from the therapist working with your probationer the same day or next day that you call
and make an inquiry.

**Genesis Counseling is a recipient of 318 Monies thru June 2010… no “excuse” from probationers that they can’t pay for treatment.

Theft/Petty Theft/Shoplifting:
	• Theft Seminar – One day class • Theft Classes (Felony Theft or repeat offender) – Multiple week class • Victim Empathy • Letter of Apology
Adolescent Offenders:
	• Adolescent Cognitive Therapy • MIP class • Anger Management • Letter of Apology • Victim Empathy
Other Services of Note:
	• One Day Cognitive Therapy Seminar (typically used as intermediate sanction)

• Budgeting Seminar (Previously required for all defendants receiving Offender Services funds) • Job related skills training (Job Search, Resume assistance, Application assistance)

Please Note: - Genesis Counseling is a recipient of the 318 Grant, which off sets treatment costs for individuals charged with alcohol and/or drug related offenses. Genesis also is set up for billing with Offender Services.
